Narrative:
After an uneventful flight I attempted a landing in a spot that looked clear. The wind had increased to approximately 8 kts. I cleared a tree and pulled out to rapidly descend into what appeared to be [a] safe [area]. The wind sailed and dragged me over 50 yards into power lines that I hadn't seen. When power had been disconnected we removed the envelope from the lines. The only damage was two small holes melted in the fabric. No one was injured.
