Narrative:

I was sitting on the east ramp and called ground to ask for clearance to taxi to the west runup area. Ground came back with response, but we were having radio problems, so I asked them again and understood it as, 'cross 35R, hold short of 35L.' apparently I misunderstood him and crossed 35R. I was also just a little preoccupied with my radio trouble I was having and should have been listening a little better.

Narrative: I WAS SITTING ON THE E RAMP AND CALLED GND TO ASK FOR CLRNC TO TAXI TO THE W RUNUP AREA. GND CAME BACK WITH RESPONSE, BUT WE WERE HAVING RADIO PROBS, SO I ASKED THEM AGAIN AND UNDERSTOOD IT AS, 'CROSS 35R, HOLD SHORT OF 35L.' APPARENTLY I MISUNDERSTOOD HIM AND CROSSED 35R. I WAS ALSO JUST A LITTLE PREOCCUPIED WITH MY RADIO TROUBLE I WAS HAVING AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN LISTENING A LITTLE BETTER.
