Narrative:
I was flying C [position] and taking off in [seat] X4. The lady in Y4; who was a through passenger; had started coughing and sniffling profusely after pushback and during the safety demo. I didn't feel comfortable moving her or the passenger in X3 as they were both wheelchair passengers and we had begun surface movement. In these heightened times of covid; I did not feel comfortable sitting directly in front of her; nor rejoining the a [flight attendant] in the jumpseat for takeoff and landing. I chose to protect myself and take off in X6 for this flight only; knowing they were deplaning in ZZZ1.
