Narrative:

Light transport X rolling out on runway 14R, about 8000' down the runway, was asked to make the next turn-off for traffic short final. Light transport X went past turn-off and following aircraft, now on very short final was instructed to go around, and did not acknowledge. The medium large transport Y landed runway 14R while the light transport X was just starting his turn-off the runway. Contributing factors: x-wind on final caused planes to be faster on final and roll out longer than expected on the runway. Controller expectation that an light transport would turn off prior to 9500' down the runway. Training was in progress. Trnee on low hours. Discussion about headings and winds and other operational factors being done on position.

Title: TRAINING IN PROGRESS IN TWR. LTT TOLD TO MAKE NEXT TURNOFF FOR TRAFFIC ON FINAL, MISSED TURNOFF, MLG DIDN'T MAKE GO AROUND, TWO ACFT ON THE RWY, SYSTEM ERROR.

Narrative: LTT X ROLLING OUT ON RWY 14R, ABOUT 8000' DOWN THE RWY, WAS ASKED TO MAKE THE NEXT TURN-OFF FOR TFC SHORT FINAL. LTT X WENT PAST TURN-OFF AND FOLLOWING ACFT, NOW ON VERY SHORT FINAL WAS INSTRUCTED TO GO AROUND, AND DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE. THE MLG Y LANDED RWY 14R WHILE THE LTT X WAS JUST STARTING HIS TURN-OFF THE RWY. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: X-WIND ON FINAL CAUSED PLANES TO BE FASTER ON FINAL AND ROLL OUT LONGER THAN EXPECTED ON THE RWY. CTLR EXPECTATION THAT AN LTT WOULD TURN OFF PRIOR TO 9500' DOWN THE RWY. TRNING WAS IN PROGRESS. TRNEE ON LOW HRS. DISCUSSION ABOUT HDGS AND WINDS AND OTHER OPERATIONAL FACTORS BEING DONE ON POSITION.
