Narrative:
I inadvertently taxied off the taxiway after landing onto wet grass and slid down into a ditch of about a foot of water. No other plane was involved. There were no injuries and no aircraft damage.

Title: C172 pilot reported losing directional control after inadvertently taxiing off the paved surface that resulted in the aircraft sliding into a ditch.
