Narrative:
On a student training mission from ZZZ1 to ZZZ to complete pattern work. Aircraft X [is] equipped with G500. Our traffic screen was displayed on the mfd (multi-function flight display) with 2 and 6nm rings. The student had been making all appropriate radio calls.on final; without warning aircraft Y overflew us at less than 100 ft. No radio calls were heard and aircraft Y did not appear on our ads-B display; nor did the pilot respond to any radio calls.
