Narrative:
Jetbridges and portable ground power units used do not include a proper 'ground power cord support device' or strap that is to be utilized on aircraft when connecting ground power. This can be a serious hazard for ramp personnel and can cause damage if the cord ever becomes disconnected while in use. This has been brought up many times in local safety meetings with nobody taking responsibility to correct.
