Narrative:
Cruising at FL410; the pilot flying in the right seat noticed a small darkened section along the outside rear edge of the right windshield. Approaching top of descent into ZZZ; upon closer examination both pilots determined the darkened section of glass was actually a crack in the windshield. Instructions were received to divert to ZZZ1.

Narrative: Cruising at FL410; the pilot flying in the right seat noticed a small darkened section along the outside rear edge of the right windshield.
