Narrative:
After [we] took off from ZZZ runway xx; positive rate was checked; the plane was airborne; and the first officer called positive rate; and I answered landing gear up. He tried to move the landing gear lever to 'up' position and he couldn't do; then we got a squat and stall ident lights. We proceeded as per abnormal procedure check list and requested to fly back to the airport and made a safe landing.
