Narrative:
On descent into ict, ATC left us high and close to airport before giving us a descent clearance from 35000'. We were initially cleared to 24000'. With power completely off, F/east had great difficulty with cabin pressure and attention was diverted ot that problem by all crew members. Descended to 22000' before realizing the mistake. No altitude alert tone heard!! Suggest that ATC start descent clearance earlier and altitude warning horn be louder especially so they can be heard at high speed. Supplemental information from acn 176802: during descent into ict, I was having a problem controling the cabin pressure. The captain, having 25 yrs experience in this type aircraft was looking back to help me resolve the problem. Shortly thereafter, he realized he was going through his altitude and started correcting.

Title: ACR LGT EXPERIENCES CABIN PRESSURIZATION PROBLEMS ON RAPID, IDLE POWER DESCENT, AND DESCENDS 2000' THROUGH ASSIGNED ALT.
Narrative: ON DSNT INTO ICT, ATC LEFT US HIGH AND CLOSE TO ARPT BEFORE GIVING US A DSNT CLRNC FROM 35000'. WE WERE INITIALLY CLRED TO 24000'. WITH PWR COMPLETELY OFF, F/E HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY WITH CABIN PRESSURE AND ATTN WAS DIVERTED OT THAT PROB BY ALL CREW MEMBERS. DSNDED TO 22000' BEFORE REALIZING THE MISTAKE. NO ALT ALERT TONE HEARD!! SUGGEST THAT ATC START DSNT CLRNC EARLIER AND ALT WARNING HORN BE LOUDER ESPECIALLY SO THEY CAN BE HEARD AT HIGH SPD. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 176802: DURING DSNT INTO ICT, I WAS HAVING A PROB CTLING THE CABIN PRESSURE. THE CAPT, HAVING 25 YRS EXPERIENCE IN THIS TYPE ACFT WAS LOOKING BACK TO HELP ME RESOLVE THE PROB. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, HE REALIZED HE WAS GOING THROUGH HIS ALT AND STARTED CORRECTING.
