Narrative:
I was working drn at pit. Air carrier X departure off pit called in and I climbed him to 13000'. The arn controller called to me to watch air carrier X, and I then saw air carrier Y and issued a stop climb to air carrier X and also issued the traffic to him. He reported the traffic in sight. I issued maintain visibility sep. Contributing factors: I was not aware of the fact that arn was vectoring aircraft from the southwest over the airport for right traffic for runway 28R. Air carrier Y was originally tagged for 28L. At the time of the error I was distracted by an aircraft calling for clearance to enter the TCA, and I was entering the aircraft identify in the ARTS and writing the flight data strip. Supplemental information from acn 177243: I was working feeder north in the pit TRACON when I observed air carrier X under the control of departure north entering my airspace, resulting in a loss of sep with air carrier Y. I called the traffic to air carrier Y, asking if he had the other aircraft in sight, and took evasive action by issuing an immediate climb to 7000' MSL.

Title: ACR X ERRONEOUS PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE HAD LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION WITH ACR Y. SYSTEM ERROR.
Narrative: I WAS WORKING DRN AT PIT. ACR X DEP OFF PIT CALLED IN AND I CLBED HIM TO 13000'. THE ARN CTLR CALLED TO ME TO WATCH ACR X, AND I THEN SAW ACR Y AND ISSUED A STOP CLB TO ACR X AND ALSO ISSUED THE TFC TO HIM. HE RPTED THE TFC IN SIGHT. I ISSUED MAINTAIN VIS SEP. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE FACT THAT ARN WAS VECTORING ACFT FROM THE SW OVER THE ARPT FOR RIGHT TFC FOR RWY 28R. ACR Y WAS ORIGINALLY TAGGED FOR 28L. AT THE TIME OF THE ERROR I WAS DISTRACTED BY AN ACFT CALLING FOR CLRNC TO ENTER THE TCA, AND I WAS ENTERING THE ACFT IDENT IN THE ARTS AND WRITING THE FLT DATA STRIP. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 177243: I WAS WORKING FEEDER N IN THE PIT TRACON WHEN I OBSERVED ACR X UNDER THE CTL OF DEP N ENTERING MY AIRSPACE, RESULTING IN A LOSS OF SEP WITH ACR Y. I CALLED THE TFC TO ACR Y, ASKING IF HE HAD THE OTHER ACFT IN SIGHT, AND TOOK EVASIVE ACTION BY ISSUING AN IMMEDIATE CLB TO 7000' MSL.
