Narrative:
Air carrier X departed mia destination tpa. Aircraft requested interim altitude of 140 for WX. In the area of the mia 316 degree/030. Air carrier X called advising it had a TCAS alert and was descending. I observed data block already indicating 133 or 134. The traffic was a VFR aircraft descending sebound, opposite direction. I had observed the traffic passing approximately 3 mi east of air carrier X and had determined earlier that traffic was no factor.

Title: ACR X FLC NON ADHERENCE TO ATC CLRNC DSCNT FROM ASSIGNED ALT DUE TO TCASII ALERT. EVASIVE ACTION TAKEN.
Narrative: ACR X DEPARTED MIA DEST TPA. ACFT REQUESTED INTERIM ALT OF 140 FOR WX. IN THE AREA OF THE MIA 316 DEG/030. ACR X CALLED ADVISING IT HAD A TCAS ALERT AND WAS DSNDING. I OBSERVED DATA BLOCK ALREADY INDICATING 133 OR 134. THE TFC WAS A VFR ACFT DSNDING SEBOUND, OPPOSITE DIRECTION. I HAD OBSERVED THE TFC PASSING APPROX 3 MI E OF ACR X AND HAD DETERMINED EARLIER THAT TFC WAS NO FACTOR.
