Narrative:
I had an engine overtemp of oil pressure 28 pswi low inbound. Landed, checked engine. No foreign material in cowling. Flap open and normal. Quantity 12 qts. Suspected oil cooler. This is a factory repair with only 25 hours. Received VFR clearance, 2000', 300 degree heading, squawk. Took off 31R on heading to 300 degrees. Leveled at 2000'. Told to go to departure and stay clear of TCA. Traffic heavy piston 10 O'clock. Busy radio traffic. No contact on traffic and engine oil pressure started down and temperature up. I contacted departure as soon as radio traffic permitted and reported with him. He asked what my altitude was. I reported 2000' level. He told me I was in TCA and to descend immediately to 1900'. I slipped immediately to 1900' and reported level at 1900'. I did not think I had proceeded into 1900' ring of TCA and had a potentially serious engine problem. Controller asked for my destination. I advised huntley, il. I understand how busy the control people are, but they are of little help. No words like, '1900' ring 1 mi,' or anything to help you. Just look for traffic that is not really in your path and too bad, bud. Attitude is bad at many airports. Rfd very bad. Pwk very good.

Title: PLT OF SMT TWIN DISTRACTED BY OIL TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE PROBLEM ENTERED LOWER LEVEL OF ORD TCA.
Narrative: I HAD AN ENG OVERTEMP OF OIL PRESSURE 28 PSWI LOW INBND. LANDED, CHKED ENG. NO FOREIGN MATERIAL IN COWLING. FLAP OPEN AND NORMAL. QUANTITY 12 QTS. SUSPECTED OIL COOLER. THIS IS A FACTORY REPAIR WITH ONLY 25 HRS. RECEIVED VFR CLRNC, 2000', 300 DEG HDG, SQUAWK. TOOK OFF 31R ON HDG TO 300 DEGS. LEVELED AT 2000'. TOLD TO GO TO DEP AND STAY CLR OF TCA. TFC HEAVY PISTON 10 O'CLOCK. BUSY RADIO TFC. NO CONTACT ON TFC AND ENG OIL PRESSURE STARTED DOWN AND TEMP UP. I CONTACTED DEP AS SOON AS RADIO TFC PERMITTED AND RPTED WITH HIM. HE ASKED WHAT MY ALT WAS. I RPTED 2000' LEVEL. HE TOLD ME I WAS IN TCA AND TO DSND IMMEDIATELY TO 1900'. I SLIPPED IMMEDIATELY TO 1900' AND RPTED LEVEL AT 1900'. I DID NOT THINK I HAD PROCEEDED INTO 1900' RING OF TCA AND HAD A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS ENG PROB. CTLR ASKED FOR MY DEST. I ADVISED HUNTLEY, IL. I UNDERSTAND HOW BUSY THE CTL PEOPLE ARE, BUT THEY ARE OF LITTLE HELP. NO WORDS LIKE, '1900' RING 1 MI,' OR ANYTHING TO HELP YOU. JUST LOOK FOR TFC THAT IS NOT REALLY IN YOUR PATH AND TOO BAD, BUD. ATTITUDE IS BAD AT MANY ARPTS. RFD VERY BAD. PWK VERY GOOD.
