Narrative:
Retractable gear aircraft. Contact ground with gear up (propeller). In traffic pattern with flight examiner in right seat. On downwind abeam approach end of runway, initiated before landing checklist (including gear down). Failed to rechk gear indicators prior to landing. In the flare over runway propeller began contacting ground. Concluded that gear was not down and proceeded to go around. During climb out did not rest gear lever, but noticed that by then the gear was down. Returned for uneventful landing. Damaged limited to approximately 4.5' of each propeller blade bent back, ILS antenna ground down, and slight scraping of aircraft step. No injuries.
