Narrative:
Upon pushing the throttles forward for takeoff, we got the takeoff warning horn. Brought throttles back to idle. We noticed that elevator trim was out of the takeoff range. We corrected the trim setting and taxied back for takeoff. On our before takeoff checklist, we had been rushed due to a question about takeoff performance because of a taxiway being closed, which forced us to do an intersection takeoff. While reading the checklist, we 'looked,' but really didn't 'see' to confirm that items were properly positioned. We obviously missed the elevator trim. I broke my own rule of not allowing myself to be rushed.
