Narrative:
Level 11000' on acton 2 arrival to dfw. Traffic given by approach -- 12 O'clock climbing to 10 -- saw and rogered traffic. TCASII gave TA alert. Screen showed he was 9500' and climbing. When traffic was at 10 O'clock and 1 mi and separating we got an RA with instructions by TCASII to 'climb, climb.' I pulled back to put rate of climb in correct position on the ivsi, held it for 10 seconds. TCASII said, 'clear of conflict.' our aircraft had cbled to 12100'. With the words, 'clear of conflict,' I immediately descended back to 11000' and told approach we had a TCASII conflict which he rogered.
