Narrative:
On approach for runway 28R (095 degree right, 'quiet bridge') we had to turn left and pull up slightly and slow down to avoid near mid air collision with an air carrier Y large transport on extended right base turn in front of us also for runway 28R. Nearest to large transport was about 1/2 mi at 12 O'clock and we were about 500' above him. Approach control cleared us for visibility to runway 28L after we confirmed visibility contact with large transport. Large transport turned wide and was south of runway 28L centerline before lining up with runway 28R.

Title: ACR WDB HAD TO TAKE A MINOR TRACK DEVIATION TO KEEP VISUAL SEPARATION FROM AN LGT TURNING IN FRONT OF THE WDB.
Narrative: ON APCH FOR RWY 28R (095 DEG R, 'QUIET BRIDGE') WE HAD TO TURN L AND PULL UP SLIGHTLY AND SLOW DOWN TO AVOID NEAR MID AIR COLLISION WITH AN ACR Y LGT ON EXTENDED R BASE TURN IN FRONT OF US ALSO FOR RWY 28R. NEAREST TO LGT WAS ABOUT 1/2 MI AT 12 O'CLOCK AND WE WERE ABOUT 500' ABOVE HIM. APCH CTL CLRED US FOR VIS TO RWY 28L AFTER WE CONFIRMED VIS CONTACT WITH LGT. LGT TURNED WIDE AND WAS S OF RWY 28L CTRLINE BEFORE LINING UP WITH RWY 28R.
