Narrative:

Climbing through 20000', the fire warning indication activated on the #2 engine. All emergency checklists were completed. An emergency was declared with ATC and a diversion to tpa was initiated. Cabin crew and passenger were briefed accordingly. An uneventful landing was made and the aircraft status was confirmed with the fire fighting personnel (false fire warning). The aircraft was then taxied to the gate area where the passenger were deplaned normally. An appropriate logbook entry was made. End result: ZJX did a find job and the handoff to tpa was smooth. It all worked just like a text book situation--nice job!!
