Narrative:

After 26 yrs of incident free flying and with over 1800 hours piloting retractable aircraft, I landed with the gear up. I recited the landing checklist out loud as I have always done and missed the gear handle. I was not distracted in any way, the WX was excellent, it was daytime and I was not tired or sick. I touched down in a normal full stall, the engine was at idle, and I slid to a stop in the middle of the runway. There were no injuries or damage to anything but the aircraft. I plan to revise my landing checklist to check gear down and locked 3 times -- before and during checklist and on short final.
