Narrative:
On a widebody transport owned by XXX airlines, operating tpe to lax as flight xx, we encountered a maintenance delay for inoperative anti-skid. Passenger had been boarded for an on-time departure and after a 1 hour delay, we had to push to aircraft off the gate because the gate was needed for another flight. We were towed to a maintenance ramp and the flight attendants armed the doors for automatic chute deployment. In the maintenance area, the APU had a hard time keeping up with the air conditioning requirements and the cabin temperature rose to over 90 degree F. The flight attendant at door 4R called and asked the captain if he could crack the 4L/right doors for some air. The captain replied 'yes, but make sure it's unarmed'. The flight attendant said 'it's ok' and proceeded to open an armed door. The power assist pulled the door all the way open and pulled the slide out of the pack however it did not inflate as it was supposed to, although the flight attendant is sure he heard the bottle blow.

Title: CABIN EMER SLIDE DEPLOYED WHILE WDB WAS PARKED ON GND.
Narrative: ON A WDB OWNED BY XXX AIRLINES, OPERATING TPE TO LAX AS FLT XX, WE ENCOUNTERED A MAINT DELAY FOR INOP ANTI-SKID. PAX HAD BEEN BOARDED FOR AN ON-TIME DEP AND AFTER A 1 HR DELAY, WE HAD TO PUSH TO ACFT OFF THE GATE BECAUSE THE GATE WAS NEEDED FOR ANOTHER FLT. WE WERE TOWED TO A MAINT RAMP AND THE FLT ATTENDANTS ARMED THE DOORS FOR AUTOMATIC CHUTE DEPLOYMENT. IN THE MAINT AREA, THE APU HAD A HARD TIME KEEPING UP WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING REQUIREMENTS AND THE CABIN TEMP ROSE TO OVER 90 DEG F. THE FLT ATTENDANT AT DOOR 4R CALLED AND ASKED THE CAPT IF HE COULD CRACK THE 4L/R DOORS FOR SOME AIR. THE CAPT REPLIED 'YES, BUT MAKE SURE IT'S UNARMED'. THE FLT ATTENDANT SAID 'IT'S OK' AND PROCEEDED TO OPEN AN ARMED DOOR. THE PWR ASSIST PULLED THE DOOR ALL THE WAY OPEN AND PULLED THE SLIDE OUT OF THE PACK HOWEVER IT DID NOT INFLATE AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO, ALTHOUGH THE FLT ATTENDANT IS SURE HE HEARD THE BOTTLE BLOW.
