Narrative:
I conducted preflight in accordance with medium large transport airplane flight manual and approved company procedures. Nothing unusual was found during preflight. Flight then proceeded normal from bwi to iah. In particular, all pitot static indications were normal. 5 days later, tape was found covering a static system port. I do not recall seeing tape on the port during the preflight.
