Narrative:

I flew small aircraft to dfw airport with an IFR clearance on aug/mon/91. I left the plane at FBO and flew to minneapolis on a commercial flight. On fri, the FAA representative came by the plane, did an inspection, wrote up several minor things that needed to be done to the plane. When I returned to dfw from minneapolis the next day, the FBO van picked me up and took me to the plane. He said the FAA examiner had come by, inspected my plane and in their usual harassing approach to business. He said they were always doing inspections but they didn't amount to anything. 2 tags from the FAA were on the outside of the door of the plane. I removed the tags and read the list of 12 minor things that needed to be done to the plane. Not being familiar with the form I did not read all the fine print. I had an IFR flight plan filed so I departed dfw and went home. On sep/wed/91 I flew the plane to mineral wells, to the autoplt adjusted, from mineral wells I flew the plane to tyler to get the recommended repairs done. The mechanic looked at the list of things the examiner listed. The mechanic told me at that time there was a little box checked that said the plane was not to depart dfw without a ferry permit. The plane is now grounded by me until the recommended repairs are completed.
