Narrative:
Engine start running rough at 55 percent power at 5500 ft cruise. Continued right despite various power and mixture settings, changed tanks, low/high boost on fuel did not help. Roughness worsened and altitude could not be maintained. Landed in pasture gear down. On roll out nose gear hit small ditch and collapsed into nose wheel well. No other damage to airframe. No injuries. Propeller bent slightly. Some oil mist on windscreen.
