Narrative:
ATC advised crew of 2 targets, 1 unidented. Crew asked for turn when TCASII showed unidented target approaching. ATC delayed clearance turn request until evasive action taken per TCASII RA command, climb 5000 FPM, 30 degree angle bank to left. Traffic observed by captain passing right of our aircraft, same altitude. No comment from ATC. TCASII worked well and saved day.
