Narrative:
On acton arrival to dfw, we saw target aircraft at 2 O'clock and climbing. Approach called out the traffic. TCASII moved target from a TA to an RA annunciating 'climb'. We complied with aircraft reaching 11500 MSL before 'clear of conflict' and returning to 11000 MSL. We need someway to flag known targets on TCASII so as not to have to react to a non threat.
