Narrative:
Tower instructed me to follow an small aircraft on approach to airport. I had to maneuver out of his way as I was on a close-in base leg and he had reported a 1 mi final. His estimate was off. I asked him to check his DME and he got rather mad and told me to mind my business. I landed after him and then as he was trying to talk he was blocked several times. The tower suspected me and said so. Next time, I will use more professionalism and patience. It was a rather minor incident, but all parties involved got upset.
