Narrative:
This was a quick turn on a scheduled flight cle atl cle. At some point 1 flight attendant left the aircraft to make a phone call. Aircraft was boarded. Ground security coordinator indicated all was well and ready to close. Captain agreed to close if flight attendants were ready. Flight service manager agreed and door was closed. It was assumed that the third flight attendant was on board, perhaps in the bathroom. Error was discovered as aircraft pushed back. Returned to gate. Picked up flight attendant and departed.
