Narrative:
At or about cty VOR I realized the alternator indicated '0'. I turned off interior fan, 1 radio, 1 VOR receiver, DME, ADF. The strobes were off in IMC. Left on were mags, master, 1 radio, 1 VOR receiver, LORAN. I contacted jax center and described conditions. I elected to continue to known VFR conditions past ocf as orl executive was known VFR. I/we were in no distress. Jax center handed me off to orl approach. Continued to patrick control and to mlb regulation. Landed. Altitude belt intact. Altitude to be checked by mechanic.
