*Reporter has lengthy explanation for all sorts of possibilities reference his flameout during a descent procedure. He lays great emphasis on the possibility that he had mishandled the fuel xfeed procedure, also using center tank fuel that wasn't supposed to be there and possibly contained water. PIC was taken off schedule until a simulator review ride could establish his competency.

Title: FLAMEOUT OF #1 ENG ON ACR MLG AFTER FUEL BALING PROC WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN DSCNT.
Narrative: *RPTR HAS LENGTHY EXPLANATION FOR ALL SORTS OF POSSIBILITIES REF HIS FLAMEOUT DURING A DSCNT PROC. HE LAYS GREAT EMPHASIS ON THE POSSIBILITY THAT HE HAD MISHANDLED THE FUEL XFEED PROC, ALSO USING CENTER TANK FUEL THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THERE AND POSSIBLY CONTAINED WATER. PIC WAS TAKEN OFF SCHEDULE UNTIL A SIMULATOR REVIEW RIDE COULD ESTABLISH HIS COMPETENCY.
