Narrative:
On takeoff after 3 mins a fire warning on #1 engine illuminated. After retarding throttle to idle fire indication extinguished. Thought there may be a bleed leak on the engine. Maintenance found several hot air bleed leaks due to the wrong clamps being installed allowing leaks of hot air to contact the fire warning wiring causing the fire illumination. Mechanic found the associated clamps on engine #3 to be the wrong clamps also. Found insufficient information in maintenance books to determine which clamps to use. Suspect whole fleet of large transport may potentially have hot air leaks causing engine fire indications. We returned to den and completed an uneventful landing. We shut down the affected engine after clearing the runway. Crew elected not to shut down engine while returning to land to keep aircraft systems (ie, hydraulic/generators) operating.

Title: ACR LGT INFLT FIRE WARNING SHORTLY AFTER TKOF FROM DEN. REDUCED THRUST CAUSED FIRE WARNING TO EXTINGUISH. RETURN LAND WITH ENG OPERATING AT REDUCED THRUST TO KEEP HYD/GEN WORKING.
Narrative: ON TKOF AFTER 3 MINS A FIRE WARNING ON #1 ENG ILLUMINATED. AFTER RETARDING THROTTLE TO IDLE FIRE INDICATION EXTINGUISHED. THOUGHT THERE MAY BE A BLEED LEAK ON THE ENG. MAINT FOUND SEVERAL HOT AIR BLEED LEAKS DUE TO THE WRONG CLAMPS BEING INSTALLED ALLOWING LEAKS OF HOT AIR TO CONTACT THE FIRE WARNING WIRING CAUSING THE FIRE ILLUMINATION. MECH FOUND THE ASSOCIATED CLAMPS ON ENG #3 TO BE THE WRONG CLAMPS ALSO. FOUND INSUFFICIENT INFO IN MAINT BOOKS TO DETERMINE WHICH CLAMPS TO USE. SUSPECT WHOLE FLEET OF LGT MAY POTENTIALLY HAVE HOT AIR LEAKS CAUSING ENG FIRE INDICATIONS. WE RETURNED TO DEN AND COMPLETED AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG. WE SHUT DOWN THE AFFECTED ENG AFTER CLRING THE RWY. CREW ELECTED NOT TO SHUT DOWN ENG WHILE RETURNING TO LAND TO KEEP ACFT SYSTEMS (IE, HYD/GENERATORS) OPERATING.
