Narrative:

During aerial refueling of fgt by mlt, our crew's attention was distracted for a short while, due to a distraction from an engine indication. This caused us to extend too far on our track of 090 thus exiting the bristol MOA and into the airspace of V-538 by about 2 mi. ZLA claimed they called us on guard but we never heard this transmission. We were operating VFR in the MOA at 17000 ft. We actually noticed we were at the boundary but the radius of turn spilled us out of the area. Cause: not ensuring one pilot maintains responsibility for navigation while the other dealt with the problem. Easily correctable and a lesson learned.
