Narrative:
VFR flight into pbf. Approached pbf from west, line of cloud cover to the east of pbf. Landed at pbf without incident. Contacted by lit FSDO on ground and told that I might have operated in pbf control zone, without a proper IFR clearance. Told FAA employee that the WX to the west of pbf was VFR and that I had not encountered any IMC. FSS employee at pbf expressed his opinion that area to west of pbf was VFR and that in fact it was possible that I had not encountered IMC. I was informed by FAA personnel that they were investigating this possible incident. I am making this report as timely as possible with concern to the recent holidays.
