Narrative:

On push back at lax operations called and advised last bags to be loaded in left aft bulk cargo bin. On takeoff 24L prior to 100 KTS, bulk cargo door light came on. Aborted takeoff. Just after throttles reduced light went out. Retaxied to gate to have maintenance inspect and shut door and sign off log book write up. Flight continued, no other problems noted. Brake cooling checked prior to takeoff, weight 252211, speed 100 KTS. I am new captain on aircraft and elected to abort takeoff prior to 100 KTS for safety of aircraft.
