Narrative:
During takeoff roll prior to V1, the interphone call light and chime came on. Takeoff was aborted. The flight attendant had activated the call button because one of the passengers got up during the takeoff and came running up the aisle shouting 'the flaps aren't down!' after clearing the runway it was explained to this passenger that normal takeoffs are made with the flaps up. Another takeoff was made and the flight proceeded without incident! (The passenger claimed to be an large transport flight engineer).
