Narrative:
Flight was approximately 55 mins duration with 3 flight attendants and 128 passenger (full boat). Descent was normal and PA announcement was made prior to 10000 ft to 'prepare the cabin for arrival.' prior to the OM, the 3 bell signal was given that landing was imminent. No communications were received from the cabin this entire time. Landing was normal and we taxied to the gate. At the gate, seat belt sign was turned off and cockpit door was opened by the a flight attendant. She informed us that 'they' had not been in their seats on landing. As the passenger deplaned, one commented that what had occurred was 'illegal.' flight attendants made no comment. No crew coordination.
