Narrative:

After completing pushback and before taxi checklists we called for taxi clearance. The captain began our taxi using min power due to the very short nature of the taxi, we were instructed by ground control to call tower as soon as our taxi began. Tower instructed us to taxi into position and hold, the captain continued his slow taxi onto the runway. Just as we taxied onto the runway we received takeoff clearance and an aircraft on final was told to go around. We continued a normal takeoff. On climb out we heard an aircraft on frequency report that we blew a baggage cart into a parked commuter airplane at golf concourse. During later conversation with our company we were informed of skin damage to the commuter. The day before dtw received 8 inches of snow and the airport was closed for 2 hours for poor visibility and snow removal, due to below freezing temperatures and snow and ice covered ramps. What was a normal taxi procedure was not normal this morning. In hindsight only another taxi route to the runway might have prevented the situation. This same taxi has been done many times before with the same power usage with no trouble. Small aircraft parked so close to the entry to dtw's longest runway creates a potential for more problems with jet-blast from heavy transports.

Title: A WDB TAXIING OUT FOR TKOF AT DTW BLEW A BAGGAGE CART INTO A PARKED COMMUTER ACFT.

Narrative: AFTER COMPLETING PUSHBACK AND BEFORE TAXI CHKLISTS WE CALLED FOR TAXI CLRNC. THE CAPT BEGAN OUR TAXI USING MIN PWR DUE TO THE VERY SHORT NATURE OF THE TAXI, WE WERE INSTRUCTED BY GND CTL TO CALL TWR AS SOON AS OUR TAXI BEGAN. TWR INSTRUCTED US TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD, THE CAPT CONTINUED HIS SLOW TAXI ONTO THE RWY. JUST AS WE TAXIED ONTO THE RWY WE RECEIVED TKOF CLRNC AND AN ACFT ON FINAL WAS TOLD TO GAR. WE CONTINUED A NORMAL TKOF. ON CLB OUT WE HEARD AN ACFT ON FREQ RPT THAT WE BLEW A BAGGAGE CART INTO A PARKED COMMUTER AIRPLANE AT GOLF CONCOURSE. DURING LATER CONVERSATION WITH OUR COMPANY WE WERE INFORMED OF SKIN DAMAGE TO THE COMMUTER. THE DAY BEFORE DTW RECEIVED 8 INCHES OF SNOW AND THE ARPT WAS CLOSED FOR 2 HRS FOR POOR VISIBILITY AND SNOW REMOVAL, DUE TO BELOW FREEZING TEMPS AND SNOW AND ICE COVERED RAMPS. WHAT WAS A NORMAL TAXI PROC WAS NOT NORMAL THIS MORNING. IN HINDSIGHT ONLY ANOTHER TAXI RTE TO THE RWY MIGHT HAVE PREVENTED THE SITUATION. THIS SAME TAXI HAS BEEN DONE MANY TIMES BEFORE WITH THE SAME PWR USAGE WITH NO TROUBLE. SMALL ACFT PARKED SO CLOSE TO THE ENTRY TO DTW'S LONGEST RWY CREATES A POTENTIAL FOR MORE PROBLEMS WITH JET-BLAST FROM HVY TRANSPORTS.
