Narrative:
We were running late on our inbound flight. The captain told me he would get the cockpit set up for our next leg. I was standing at the aircraft entrance greeting the passenger. We pushed back and called ground for taxi. We were issued taxi instructions to taxi to 27L. After completing the checklist and being given takeoff clearance I pushed the throttles up and commenced to takeoff. It was my leg. About halfway down the runway I noticed that we were squawking our previous legs squawk code. At this point I thought perhaps the captain had forgotten to get our clearance. I still do not know if we had our IFR clearance or not. Departure asked us to verify our squawk and the next controller asked us to verify our destination. After that we did not hear any more about it. I learned a very valuable lesson from this experience. Never assume the other pilot is going to do something. Since this happened I have started doing something very simple and effective on my after landing check. After landing I put zero's (0000) in the transponder so I will know that we don't have a clearance yet.

Title: ACR MLG FLC APPARENTLY DEPARTS WITHOUT RECEIVING IFR CLRNC FROM CLRNC DELIVERY.
Narrative: WE WERE RUNNING LATE ON OUR INBOUND FLT. THE CAPT TOLD ME HE WOULD GET THE COCKPIT SET UP FOR OUR NEXT LEG. I WAS STANDING AT THE ACFT ENTRANCE GREETING THE PAX. WE PUSHED BACK AND CALLED GND FOR TAXI. WE WERE ISSUED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO TAXI TO 27L. AFTER COMPLETING THE CHKLIST AND BEING GIVEN TKOF CLRNC I PUSHED THE THROTTLES UP AND COMMENCED TO TKOF. IT WAS MY LEG. ABOUT HALFWAY DOWN THE RWY I NOTICED THAT WE WERE SQUAWKING OUR PREVIOUS LEGS SQUAWK CODE. AT THIS POINT I THOUGHT PERHAPS THE CAPT HAD FORGOTTEN TO GET OUR CLRNC. I STILL DO NOT KNOW IF WE HAD OUR IFR CLRNC OR NOT. DEP ASKED US TO VERIFY OUR SQUAWK AND THE NEXT CTLR ASKED US TO VERIFY OUR DEST. AFTER THAT WE DID NOT HEAR ANY MORE ABOUT IT. I LEARNED A VERY VALUABLE LESSON FROM THIS EXPERIENCE. NEVER ASSUME THE OTHER PLT IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING. SINCE THIS HAPPENED I HAVE STARTED DOING SOMETHING VERY SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE ON MY AFTER LNDG CHK. AFTER LNDG I PUT ZERO'S (0000) IN THE TRANSPONDER SO I WILL KNOW THAT WE DON'T HAVE A CLRNC YET.
