Narrative:
On final approach to landing at the airstrip base a transformer at the northwest corner of the field exploded and the power lines fell, and landing in the street. The airstrip was in no way involved with the fact that the transformer exploded. At no time was there any indications that the noseline or any other part of the airstrip came into contact with any electrical (wires or poles) equipment. There was also no damage to the airstrip.

Title: POSSIBLE LNDG UNDERSHOT IN LOW ALT CIVIL OP RESULTS IN PWR TRANSFORMER EXPLOSION AND PWR LINE DROPPAGE.
Narrative: ON FINAL APCH TO LNDG AT THE AIRSTRIP BASE A TRANSFORMER AT THE NW CORNER OF THE FIELD EXPLODED AND THE PWR LINES FELL, AND LNDG IN THE STREET. THE AIRSTRIP WAS IN NO WAY INVOLVED WITH THE FACT THAT THE TRANSFORMER EXPLODED. AT NO TIME WAS THERE ANY INDICATIONS THAT THE NOSELINE OR ANY OTHER PART OF THE AIRSTRIP CAME INTO CONTACT WITH ANY ELECTRICAL (WIRES OR POLES) EQUIP. THERE WAS ALSO NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRSTRIP.
