After flying a borrowed airplane, it was discovered the static system was out of the 24 month certification period. Upon discovery, owner was notified and condition was remedied.

Title: PLT OF SMA FIND THAT NECESSARY INSPECTIONS ON THE ACFT HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED.
Narrative: AFTER FLYING A BORROWED AIRPLANE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THE STATIC SYS WAS OUT OF THE 24 MONTH CERTIFICATION PERIOD. UPON DISCOVERY, OWNER WAS NOTIFIED AND CONDITION WAS REMEDIED.
