Narrative:
After landing on runway 4R at ord we were instructed to call ground which we did and were given taxi instructions to gate via the 'cargo and inner.' as we approached the 'twig' taxiway an air carrier medium large transport came barrelling at us. We were already entering the intersection so we veered to the right to avoid a collision. The medium large transport finally came to a stop. The ensuing radio conversation with ord ground control and a later telephone call to the tower we found out the medium large transport had not called ground after landing 9R and exiting.
