Narrative:
VFR to millard airport (mle) near omaha, northeast. On descent, encountered severe turbulence about 8000 ft. Apparently hit my head on the overhead oxygen system handle so hard it bent and dazed me. (I may have passed out, I'm not sure.) my hand must have hit the radio switch because when I got myself oriented again I was down to about 2000 AGL in a left spiral dive just west of oma, in their arsa. After resetting the radios, I contacted oma approach, who gave me radar vectors to mle. Landed uneventfully although I was still shaken and somewhat dizzy.
