Narrative:
I was a passenger sitting in the right front seat of the airplane when ab was the PIC sitting in the left front seat of the airplane. I had fallen asleep for about 30 mins in the right front seat. Between about xx:45 to xy:15 pm I was sleeping. 5 mins after I had awakened the engine died and the propeller was windmilling. I was still waking up when this was happening. Ab was talking to st. Petersburg on the radio at this time. He asked the controller for an airport close to land at. The controller said valkaria is 1/2 mi at your 12 O'clock position. Ab saw the airport and landed safely. The controller asked what the problem was. Ab said something is wrong, but I am not sure what. The controller gave him the valkaria unicom frequency and then he landed the airplane on the runway safely. The pilot was at a low altitude of 2500 the whole trip from smart, GA, airport to valkaria. He had used full throttle for awhile. These events had seemed to cause the airplane to run out of fuel sooner than its usual fuel time.

Title: SMA RUNS OUT OF FUEL, EMER LNDG.
Narrative: I WAS A PAX SITTING IN THE R FRONT SEAT OF THE AIRPLANE WHEN AB WAS THE PIC SITTING IN THE L FRONT SEAT OF THE AIRPLANE. I HAD FALLEN ASLEEP FOR ABOUT 30 MINS IN THE R FRONT SEAT. BTWN ABOUT XX:45 TO XY:15 PM I WAS SLEEPING. 5 MINS AFTER I HAD AWAKENED THE ENG DIED AND THE PROP WAS WINDMILLING. I WAS STILL WAKING UP WHEN THIS WAS HAPPENING. AB WAS TALKING TO ST. THE CTLR ASKED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. AB SAID SOMETHING IS WRONG, BUT I AM NOT SURE WHAT. THE CTLR GAVE HIM THE VALKARIA UNICOM FREQ AND THEN HE LANDED THE AIRPLANE ON THE RWY SAFELY. THE PLT WAS AT A LOW ALT OF 2500 THE WHOLE TRIP FROM SMART, GA, ARPT TO VALKARIA. HE HAD USED FULL THROTTLE FOR AWHILE. THESE EVENTS HAD SEEMED TO CAUSE THE AIRPLANE TO RUN OUT OF FUEL SOONER THAN ITS USUAL FUEL TIME.
