We deviated from assigned altitude and speed on the acton arrival at dfw because of a TCASII resolution for vertical separation. We had the other aircraft in sight. No problem. Our TCASII showed 800 ft vertical separation.

Narrative: WE DEVIATED FROM ASSIGNED ALT AND SPD ON THE ACTON ARR AT DFW BECAUSE OF A TCASII RESOLUTION FOR VERT SEPARATION. WE HAD THE OTHER ACFT IN SIGHT. NO PROBLEM. OUR TCASII SHOWED 800 FT VERT SEPARATION.
