Narrative:
During a vector from the south, we were sequenced behind an air carrier large transport Y. Just as final was intercepted, the wake was encountered. We rolled uncontrollable into 80 degree bank. We couldn't control for 2-3 seconds. The large transport Y puts out more wake than any aircraft I have ever encountered.
