Narrative:
While flying south towards nabb VOR (VFR) I encountered 3 military aircraft wingtip to wingtip heading north. After this sighting, I headed due west, I thought I might have crossed over the edge of restr airspace 4-3403b, (northwest corner), to get clear of the chance of being in a military operation zone. I had seen a railroad and highway previous to this aircraft sighting, thinking that there would not be roads and trains in this area. As I was tracking the nabb VOR, I felt that I was not in restr airspace. I was unfamiliar with this airspace. I used duat as my briefing. Whenever passing within 50 NM of route, duat should, in plain language, warn you of any activity in that airspace and of that restriction. After talking with muncie tower (mie), I told them I was headed south which takes you direct through this restriction. They might be able to warn you of this airspace. Although it is quite a bit south of mie. This airspace should be highlighted with very bright colors so it stands out on the sectional map.

Title: UNAUTHORIZED PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE BY SMA. MEETS A FLT OF 3 MIL BOMBERS, OPPOSITE DIRECTION TFC. POTENTIAL CONFLICT.
Narrative: WHILE FLYING S TOWARDS NABB VOR (VFR) I ENCOUNTERED 3 MIL ACFT WINGTIP TO WINGTIP HDG N. AFTER THIS SIGHTING, I HEADED DUE W, I THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE CROSSED OVER THE EDGE OF RESTR AIRSPACE 4-3403B, (NW CORNER), TO GET CLR OF THE CHANCE OF BEING IN A MIL OP ZONE. I HAD SEEN A RAILROAD AND HWY PREVIOUS TO THIS ACFT SIGHTING, THINKING THAT THERE WOULD NOT BE ROADS AND TRAINS IN THIS AREA. AS I WAS TRACKING THE NABB VOR, I FELT THAT I WAS NOT IN RESTR AIRSPACE. I WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH THIS AIRSPACE. I USED DUAT AS MY BRIEFING. WHENEVER PASSING WITHIN 50 NM OF RTE, DUAT SHOULD, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE, WARN YOU OF ANY ACTIVITY IN THAT AIRSPACE AND OF THAT RESTRICTION. AFTER TALKING WITH MUNCIE TWR (MIE), I TOLD THEM I WAS HEADED S WHICH TAKES YOU DIRECT THROUGH THIS RESTRICTION. THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO WARN YOU OF THIS AIRSPACE. ALTHOUGH IT IS QUITE A BIT S OF MIE. THIS AIRSPACE SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED WITH VERY BRIGHT COLORS SO IT STANDS OUT ON THE SECTIONAL MAP.
