Narrative:

During a ramp inspection, I was given a load manifest for weight and balance. I computed it and was satisfied. The dispatch takes the passenger weight and bags and writes them on the manifest. The inspector noticed a couple of handbags and questioned their weight. After a quick check with the dispatch, the bags had never been weighed. We weighed the bags and recomputed the weight and balance. It checked out ok, and I was released for the flight. Closer check on passenger weights and bags in the future.
