Narrative:

ATC had cleared me for the VOR-10 approach at dpa while I was in the vicinity of arrival airport. When I passed over the dpa VOR inbound, the final approach fix, it dawned on me that I had heard nothing from chicago approach. I called them and they informed me that I had a stuck microphone. This probably fouled up communications with them for about 10 mins. I believe that I should monitor communications more closely but I also think that communication equipment should have a transmit indicator. I have a xy in the plane which gives no indication that it is transmitting.
