Narrative:
While en route to alpena, mi, over saginaw bay, the aircraft lost all oil pressure, this was noticed by the indicator light as well as the oil pressure gauge, shortly thereafter the engine failed. (At the time of the oil pressure failure I began to head to shore as well as contact wurtsmith AFB). After engine failure I noticed wurtsmith AFB, picked an appropriate landing strip, and made an emergency landing. There was no aircraft damage, and no personal injuries.
