Narrative:
Call to tower, 'small transport X is ready for takeoff.' saf tower 'hold short, traffic on final.' the small aircraft was .3 mi or more on final. I advised tower that there was plenty of time for me to depart. Tower said hold short and I acknowledged and advised of the unnecessary hold. Tower said 'you can shut your mouth.' this incident was unprofessional, on the tower's part, and should be corrected.

Narrative: CALL TO TWR, 'SMT X IS READY FOR TKOF.' SAF TWR 'HOLD SHORT, TFC ON FINAL.' THE SMA WAS .3 MI OR MORE ON FINAL. I ADVISED TWR THAT THERE WAS PLENTY OF TIME FOR ME TO DEPART. TWR SAID HOLD SHORT AND I ACKNOWLEDGED AND ADVISED OF THE UNNECESSARY HOLD. TWR SAID 'YOU CAN SHUT YOUR MOUTH.' THIS INCIDENT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL, ON THE TWR'S PART, AND SHOULD BE CORRECTED.
