Narrative:
During water takeoff a gust of wind turned the aircraft about 30 degrees left of intended takeoff path at time of transition on to the step. (Flaps 20 degrees, water rudder retracted.) seeing no response from proper control input, I aborted the takeoff. Aircraft left wing caught tree and aircraft ran aground damaging propeller-float and wing cuff.
